As a writer, your role will be to consistently produce written pieces for Our Diary Magazine. This can range from informative articles to creative writing. You will still be required to submit your work through the Submission Form, and editors will be reviewing and approving your work.
Artist
Creative
As an artist, your role will be to consistently produce creative work for Our Diary Magazine. This can range from anything visual or auditory, such as photographs, artwork, and music. You will still be required to submit your work through the Submission Form, and editors will be reviewing and approving your work.
Literary Editor
Executive
As an editor, you will be tasked with reviewing all submissions ensuring they are appropriate and follow our guidelines. You will ensure that the submissions posted on the Our Diary Magazine website are displayed in a proper manner, following the aesthetic and themes of the magazine.
Outreach Coordinator
Executive
As an outreach coordinator, you will be responsible for reaching out to possible creatives and team members. This will be especially important during time periods where we are accepting submissions for an issue. You will have access to the Our Diary Instagram account and our email. You will encourage people to submit their work or apply to join the team. You must remain professional when communicating with such people.
Media Team
Creative
As part of the media team, you will be responsible for creating and managing, and promoting Our Diary Magazine throught social media. You may be needed to create posters and update our website.
Photographer
Videographer
Creative
As a photographer/videographer, you will attend meetings and in-person events and record them visually. You will conduct photoshoots for pictures that will be posted on the Our Diary Instagram page, as well as pictures/videos posted on the Our Diary Magazine website. You will work closely with the media team to promote Our Diary Magazine.
Model
Creative
As a model, you will pose for photographers in order to advertise posts or for creative purposes such as editorial shoots. Anybody can model!
By accepting your position on the Our Diary Magazine team, you agree to the following:
1. You consent to having your name, face, email, phone number (if applicable), and social media handle(s) (if applicable) publicly displayed:

This may include the Our Diary Magazine website (“Team” page and elsewhere when relevant).

This may include Our Diary Magazine’s social media platforms for team-related posts or promotional content.
2. You agree not to share the login credentials of any Our Diary Magazine platforms (e.g. Instagram, Linktree, website backend, etc.) under any circumstances, unless explicitly told otherwise by a President or Co-President.

If a President or Co-President asks you to share login info, they will explain clearly who it’s for and why.
3. You agree to being photographed and/or recorded at ODM events, in-person meetings, or promotional shoots.

These may be used on our website or social media for promotional purposes.

If this is ever a concern for you, it is your responsibility to let the photographer or a team lead know ahead of time.
4. You agree to act respectfully and responsibly as a representative of Our Diary Magazine, both online and in-person.

This includes maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.
